Upon Checking into your room get to know the Location of all emergency exits, Count the number of door ways and other features       between the fire exits and your door this will help you to identify the
nearest exit if you have to crawl along the corridor in darkness or smoky environment when there is a fire out break. Note the alarm call
point of the fire alarm system so that you can activate the alarm if
